Using influence magick to tame difficult situations…

by admin on April 13, 2018

A while ago when I first got into magick there was a lot of buzz around influence magick being potentially unethical.

There were a few magick books out that lightly touched on it but nothing really explored what was really going on, and I found that odd.

After my own experiments I found that certain spirits were very willing to talk to me about what I wanted to know – and it wasn’t what I was expecting.

Initially I spoke to a few demons and they simply said that if a situation was ethically justified, they could influence groups and situations to resolve a misperception or lie so that the truth could be revealed.

That was definitely not what I was expecting.

The spirits are very ethical and it is very rare to find ones that was willing to do purposefully unethical work.

Then I had a tough situation in one of my businesses where things got a little hairy.

I had to influence myself to stay in a group and it sucked because I had paid to be there. There was a stupid disagreement about who I was and it was needless drama – I did not want to deal with that; just give me what I paid for.

The demons guided me to Baphomet and I realized that he could easily shift a situation like this for me so that a simple misunderstanding would be resolved without any conflict (prevent conflict before it starts).

This was very new to me and it worked.

I was able to stay in my business group. I got the necessary information I paid for and everything worked out.

How did I know it was going to be a problem?

One of my biz friends nudged me and let me know he had been kicked out. The same might happen to me simply due to associations I had to other biz friends (working with emotional business people seriously sucks sometimes).

This was one of the first times I had experienced influence, and it flowed together so well.

I didn’t even think about it, really.

My second experiment with influence was a lot worse, but was desperately needed.

I had a business friend who was screwing me over, slandering me and trying to curse me (I didn’t even know she was into baneful magick!) and when I realized what was going on I had to act very fast.

I called upon the Sumerian spirit Tiamat to help resolve the situation.

It wasn’t the most graceful transition, because this former biz friend had a lot of problems at the time and was affected in many ways. But Tiamat bound her and influenced her to stop all baneful acts against me and others.

So this was technically a protective bind, but it was influence to get her to stop her crap, to stop talking against me, to stop acting against me, and to see me as a casual friend again.

She was literally influenced to stop her crap against me, and that just doesn’t happen in normal life.

Enemies don’t just forget about you and stop. If they are aggressive, like she was, they keep charging at you until their attacks and slander land.

I don’t want to paint my experiences in the occult as something bad at all. I’ve had a TON of good experiences, and a few bad. That’s just how it is.

But because of situations like this, I am a far stronger magician.

It’s not even reasonable to think I would have been okay or alright without using these spirits.

Baphomet and Tiamat helped me tremendously, and for that I am very grateful.
